progress :: vol I

Hi :)

How was your weekend? Still recovering from the 4th?

In my last post, I shared a few things that I wanted to get done this weekend.

Here's my progress:

John's beanie:
He requested black and 'John Deer' green stripes. I've only got the crown part finished... Still have about 15ish more rows to do before it's finished.

Mom's scarf:
This is the scarf as it is now.

Here's a close up of the stitches. I don't know what this pattern is, but I've seen it on Pinterest and I just made it up as I went. I'm thinking of ripping it all out, though, and making a cowl instead of an infinity scarf. Not sure yet. I have 12 days before her birthday though, so it needs to be finished very soon!

I still need to get a blogging journal/notebook. For now I'm using a notebook with random things written in it. Once I get a designated space for blog writing, I'll share it with you :)

I thought I'd share something else I've been working on:
My first loom scarf! The pattern is also made up. I basically combined a few things I saw on YouTube and started looming... There might be a post/tutorial coming on this. I haven't decided yet.

Hope you enjoyed my sharing :)

Happy Monday!

Thanks for stopping by :) I hope you enjoy some of the things I share here.

Thank you! It's my first loom project so naturally I've ripped it out and redone it about 4 times before it started to look acceptable to me lol I didn't think I would like the colors of the beanie together, but it's not for me haha. I'm liking how it's turning out though! Should be finished with it soon!

    1. I like to keep things exciting lol Sometimes, I work on something so much and then I get bored with it. I like to sew too, I just don't have any fabric to make anything specific right now, and my machine is underneath books and yarn right now haha

      Thank you :)

    1. I can't wait to finish it finally! It's kind of my "in-between" project though so it might not be finished for a while.

  6. Well, I shall avidly watch this space ;-) I'm also a big Harry Potter fan-haven't got all the films yet (I'm missing the last two, although I've seen them) but the books are excellent, I hope some day you do get to read them, you'll love them!
